Pantone Spring 2016 Wedding Colors

Posted by on 5/11/2016 to Trends
Each bride's wedding is a reflection of herself and what she envisions a perfect day to be. Choosing a color scheme can sometimes be one of the most difficult choices to commit to -- it will dictate the wedding party outfits, the decorations and the flowers. Pantone released their wedding color picks for spring and summer 2016. These ten shades cover the spectrum from sunny yellows to rich blues, and will be beautiful compliments to the happy couple. They can be mixed with each other, used on their own or in combination with other colors.

We've put together ideas for how to incorporate each of these colors into your wedding (though we don't suggest using all ten on your big day). From presents for your bridesmaids to table decor, it's easy to add touches of your color of choice to various aspects of your wedding.

Rose Quartz
A light, romantic pink rose quartz was one of Pantone's colors of the year. Bridesmaids and flower girls will look lovely in this complimentary shade. Incorporate it further by wearing morganite jewelry, like these Colombian Emeralds International earrings. For centerpieces pair tall pink candles with rose gold holders and dinnerware for a truly romantic look.

Peach Echo
This rich color is gorgeous as part of your table flower arrangements. Incorporate it into the table numbers as well for a beautiful tablescape your guests will be speaking about for weeks after the wedding is over.

Include the groom in the color scheme. A serenity blue suit is a modern twist that will look stunning in photographs. If he doesn't want to make such a bold fashion choice, try accessories like the tie and pocket square pictured below. Baby's breathe is a light, airy flower that goes well with this color.

Snorkel Blue
Start using your color scheme right away with your save the dates and invitations. On the day of, have all your stationary snorkel blue like table numbers and seating cards.

Summer weddings lend themselves particularly well to this bright yellow color. For outdoor weddings when it can be hot, serve delicious and refreshing drinks before the ceremony and at cocktail hour.

Limpet Shell
Beachy brides will love having limpet blue accents throughout their big day. These exquisite aquamarine earrings will beautifully compliment any limpet shell decor. For another idea, desserts like macaroons and your wedding cake are stunning in this shade of blue.

Lilac Grey
Lilac Grey pairs beautifully with soft purples for a romantic wedding feel. Dress the wedding party in these complimentary colors and use shades of grey for table cloths and ribbons on gifts for friends and family.

Pops of red throughout the ceremony and reception space add a fun yet romantic feeling. If Fiesta is your favorite color a wide variety of flowers are naturally red, and why wear heels and paint your nails to match! Bring the color to the whole evening by having the dinnerware accented in the same shade.

Iced Coffee
A big wedding trend is using burlap and canvas for easy, often homemade, decorations. Choose a selection of jars, cover them with burlap and create small flowers with lace and the remaining burlap to get this beautiful centerpiece look.

Green Flash
An easy way to incorporate green is to add greenery like hydrangeas to your wedding bouquet and centerpieces. Gift the bridesmaids with emerald jewelry; simple, stunning pieces that gently pull together the whole look of the day.
